“Saint Paul’s Classical School in Melbourne, FL is seeking teachers for our inaugural year. We are recruiting between 30-45 students for grades K-5th to begin in the Fall of 2021.
Our iteration of the classical model includes daily sung Morning and Evening Prayer according to the Book of Common Prayer (1928), mixed-grade classrooms, and intentional outdoor education. We hope that our teachers will be able to join the life of Saint Paul’s Church and expect that they recognize the school as an extension of the parish ministry. Mixed grade classrooms (i.e., K-1, 2-3, 4-5) allow opportunity for students to be educated by the school culture rather than only by their immediate peer group as well as provide opportunity for both review and advanced work. Outdoor education for now begins with regular gardening as a part of the curriculum.
