Hunter Classical Christian School invites applications for a teacher of Latin. This position is full time, including other academic duties and teaching assignments. Primary responsibilities for this position include direct instruction to students in the third through eighth grades. Additional duties will include sponsoring the school’s certamen program and coordinating the scheduling of electives in the fine arts and modern languages, as well as other administrative tasks.
The successful candidate must hold a degree from an accredited college or university. He or she must have an affinity for teaching and whole-heartedly embrace Hunter’s Christ-centered, academically focused mission. Finally, the successful candidate must have a strong desire to grow intellectually and spiritually through a commitment to lifelong learning. Preference will be given to teachers with prior experience as classical Christian educators.
